QUESTIONS ABOUT DOWNLOADABLE SELF-GUIDED COURSEWARE:

Are the courses adapted for a virtual environment?
Yes - the interactive, dynamic presentation of the course material requires interaction (e.g. by answering questions), which adjusts the teaching automatically according to the quality of the learners answers (e.g. review of material).
By completing various exercises in the interactive program, the student learns how to use the instrument being taught in the course - e.g. the student is asked to change the font in a Word document using the appropriate menus.

Are there demonstrators showing how the courses work?
Yes, it is now possible to view demos explaining how the downloadable courses work in simple terms.
Course Demos (developed by ilasallecampus, requiring Authorware plug-in) (available by contacting the admissions office)
Course Demos (developed by our partner Édu-Performance) (available by contacting admissions office)

What is the difference between courses developed by Édu-Performance and those developed by ilasallecampus?
Even though the course content is presented in a slightly different way, the fact remains that both Édu-Performance and ilasallecampus have called upon the services of experts in interactive education to produce the self-guided courseware.
However, there is one difference with regard to the quality and richness of the graphics, as the courses offered by ilasallecampus require the free download of an Authorware component, which increases the quality of the graphical presentation a great deal.

How are students following downloadable courseware evaluated?
There are two types of evaluations:
Formative evaluations: These evaluations take place throughout the downloaded course, at strategic points in your training, thereby helping you learn the material.
Automatic comprehensive evaluations: At important points in your training (e.g. at the end of a module), the program will require you to answer a series of questions, compile your answers and give you an account of what you should do to improve your performance. For instance, if you answer a question in the evaluation incorrectly, the program will recommend that you review a certain part of the course that you have not fully grasped.

Do I need to buy any software?
Demo versions of most of the programs you will use are offered for free on the makers website.

Is the training accredited?
Yes, all our training programs are accredited by the Quebec ministère de lÉducation, du Loisir et du Sport Ministry of Advanced Education of British Columbia.

How long will a course remain in my student file once it has been downloaded?
Each course you purchase will remain avaliable in your profile for a duration of 6 months.

Are there any books or manuals that I have to buy?
No.
